When and how do you deliver?
We ship via Canada Post and ship between the 5th and 15th of the month.
How do you choose your books?
We want you to be reading great novels that have an appeal to a large group of people. We read and carefully select stories that are engaging and enjoyable. Novels are chosen and boxes curated by the owners.
One Month Box
Curious about Sweet Reads Box? We offer a One Month Box or our Past Boxes (subject to availability) as a way to try our boxes without committing to a three or six month subscription.
If you love us (and we hope you do) you can sign up for a three or six month subscription to keep Sweet Reads Box arriving at your door and avoid missing any months due to sell out.
What happens if I already have the book?
We strive to include books that are new the paperback so you won’t have already read it we know you are an avid reader and this might happen. Unfortunately since we keep our monthly box a surprise until you’ve received it we can’t release the title ahead of time. That said, if the book is that great – you most definitely have a friend that you can gift your copy to while still enjoying the other items in your box.
Do you ship internationally?
We ship to Canada and the US (us.sweetreadsbox.com)
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, Sezzle and Paypal. All credit card info is kept secure and we at no time have access to your credit card number.
When is my credit card charged?
All subscriptions and gift subscriptions are billed for the full amount when you subscribe.
What is your refund/return policy?
Sweet Reads Box is not eligible for a refund or return. Once you have subscribed to one month, three months or six months you have committed to the payment and the product. Since we do not auto-renew your commitment will end at the end of your term. We take time to carefully curate Sweet Reads Box to ensure the best customer experience. If you are not happy at anytime please send us an email to sweetreadsbox@gmail.com. If one of your products was broken or damaged in shipping please notify us immediately at sweetreadsbox@gmail.com.
How do I renew my subscription?
If you choose one of our 3 or 6 month subscription options we will send you an email during your last month to continue your subscription. We do not auto-renew as we value our relationship with our customers and don’t want to charge you for renewal without your consent.
How do I change my address if I move?
Please send us an email to sweetreadsbox@gmail.com and we will be happy to modify the address we have for you on file. Ensure you let us know at least a month in advance to give us time to adjust our records.

Boxes ordered months ago have not shipped. No responses to multiple emails about order status. Have enjoyed the boxes in the past but can no longer recommend the service in good conscience. Appears the business is collapsing and they are ripping their last few customers off while they can. Avoid.
I was first introduced to Sweet Reads boxes when I was gifted one by a dear friend over a year ago. I enjoyed the concept very much – it made a lovely gift, and I enjoyed it very much. The book was fantastic, and the items included in the box all enhanced my enjoyment of reading the book.
I enjoyed this gift so much that I signed up for my own subscription. The boxes are always well thought out, and the items perfectly accompany the book’s themes and narratives.
The presentation of these boxes is beautifully done – with each item carefully packed for maximum impact upon opening.
I have gifted some special edition boxes for birthdays and other special occasions for some friends who have received their gifts with great delight.
I love these boxes. They’ve had a few delays but the boxes are absolutely wonderful. I love that the boxes are created around the book. And, always a surprise. Pushes me to read books I wouldn’t have picked up but find I absolutely love them.
Horrible service and full of excuses. We ordered a 6 month subscription for my mom so she’d have something to look forward to. I ordered back in October so she’d have the boxes starting in December and through the winter months. The first box she got in late January and now it’s the end of May and she’s only received 3 of the 6 received. with promises, promises, and more empty promises. As we go into June I imagine at some point they will arrive, but now it’s spring and summer, so those long dark evenings when she’d want to read are gone. You pay big bucks. $89 for this box is not cheap for a book and a few trinkets. At least you’d expect service.
I don’t recommend ordering a subscription at all! Perhaps a one-time box if it’s in stock if you must. So completely disappointing, with complete disregard for the clients and excuses ran out months ago. Do yourself a favour and try something else.
Sweet Reads is the highlight of my month! I get so excited when I see my tracking number and feel like a kid at Christmas. This year has been even better since they started to customize products. I’m not sure how they do it with the high price of shipping these days, but keep it coming, Sweet Reads.
