When and how do you deliver?
We ship via Canada Post and ship between the 5th and 15th of the month.
How do you choose your books?
We want you to be reading great novels that have an appeal to a large group of people. We read and carefully select stories that are engaging and enjoyable. Novels are chosen and boxes curated by the owners.
One Month Box
Curious about Sweet Reads Box? We offer a One Month Box or our Past Boxes (subject to availability) as a way to try our boxes without committing to a three or six month subscription.
If you love us (and we hope you do) you can sign up for a three or six month subscription to keep Sweet Reads Box arriving at your door and avoid missing any months due to sell out.
What happens if I already have the book?
We strive to include books that are new the paperback so you won’t have already read it we know you are an avid reader and this might happen. Unfortunately since we keep our monthly box a surprise until you’ve received it we can’t release the title ahead of time. That said, if the book is that great – you most definitely have a friend that you can gift your copy to while still enjoying the other items in your box.
Do you ship internationally?
We ship to Canada and the US (us.sweetreadsbox.com)
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, Sezzle and Paypal. All credit card info is kept secure and we at no time have access to your credit card number.
When is my credit card charged?
All subscriptions and gift subscriptions are billed for the full amount when you subscribe.
What is your refund/return policy?
Sweet Reads Box is not eligible for a refund or return. Once you have subscribed to one month, three months or six months you have committed to the payment and the product. Since we do not auto-renew your commitment will end at the end of your term. We take time to carefully curate Sweet Reads Box to ensure the best customer experience. If you are not happy at anytime please send us an email to sweetreadsbox@gmail.com. If one of your products was broken or damaged in shipping please notify us immediately at sweetreadsbox@gmail.com.
How do I renew my subscription?
If you choose one of our 3 or 6 month subscription options we will send you an email during your last month to continue your subscription. We do not auto-renew as we value our relationship with our customers and don’t want to charge you for renewal without your consent.
How do I change my address if I move?
Please send us an email to sweetreadsbox@gmail.com and we will be happy to modify the address we have for you on file. Ensure you let us know at least a month in advance to give us time to adjust our records.

I have been a subscriber for about a year now, and I have to say the last 2 boxes (May and June) have been a huge disappointment. The books look good but the extra products are lacking (snacks and beverages are small/single sized; how many paper book marks does one need?!) and definitely not worth the amount of money I am paying. I am considering cancelling my subscription, which is too bad because I really enjoyed getting the boxes at the beginning (now just feeling disappointed).
I cannot say enough good things about Sweet Reads. Aside from the fact that it’s something just for me (I have six kids so everything gets shared ), I have discovered so many new favourite products and brands. It’s an easy way for me to support Canadian and local, and I love that that is a focus for Sweet Reads. I also greatly appreciate their customer service. Good customer service is hard to come by but Sweet Reads will always go above and beyond!
Sweet Reads boxes are nothing short of AMAZING!
As someone who loves to read, this is the perfect box for any book lover. Not only does it allow for you to curl up with a new book each month, they include treats and items that are associated with the novel.
It is the perfect make-up of goodies!
I have been receiving Sweet Reads boxes for just over a year. The book selection is incredible! There have been a wide range of topics and authors, many books I had wanted to read and several I had never heard of but greatly enjoyed.
I absolutely *love* unpacking my monthly box. Seeing how the items connect with the book is super fun, and I really enjoy having a special drink and a treat to have alongside my latest read.
I have been impressed with the other items in the box. They’re unique and always very high quality.
I have also sent many different boxes as gifts and my recipients have all thoroughly enjoyed their boxes :).
Sweet Reads has really gone downhill in the last year – items are being repeated in boxes, the same vendors are always featured and quite frequently, the full retail value of everything in the box is well below the cost of the box (like the May 2022 the total retail value of everything, including the cover price of the book is only about $55.) It’s not uncommon for either the snack or the beverage to be a sample or single size. I’m disappointed, not delighted, more and more often. I’ve stopped ordering limited edition boxes and have already cancelled my subscription.
