We had some issues with my August Frock Box delivery and as a result it actually arrived with my September box. So I have two reviews for you this month and I am very excited about it.

Note From My Stylist

We know you love your casual neutrals but this month we wanted to change things up a bit! It’s fun to have an outfit or two in your closet that are different from the rest. Try pairing the leather moto leggings (so much fun!) with the leopard blouse and booties for an elevated but edgy look. We also thought this sweater and cardigan would work well with your favorite basic tee, sneakers and denim for some versatile Fall looks.

The Perfect Bootie ($99.99)

Ok…..I might need some help with these adorable booties. I’m a sneaker girl through and through, but every time I see someone wearing boots like this I can’t help but be drawn to them. This particular style is perfect, and I love the color, now I just need to get comfortable with styling them. Maybe I will create a Pinterest board, lol. Either way, my closet is in need of a pair of boots like this.

UPDATE: I decided to try them with the dress from my July Box and the jacket from my April Box and now I am in LOVE!

Faux Leather Leggings ($74.99)

I was really in to the faux leather leggings last year and I have a feeling it will be the same this year. I’m especially liking these ones because of the moto style. I’ve paired them with the blouse and booties as per my stylists suggestion but I’m more likely to wear them with the cardigan (this month), the tee from my August box, and a pair of sneakers (see below). How cute!

Striped Sweater ($78.99)

I saw this sweater on the Frock Box IG page and fell in love with it immediately. They had it paired with distressed jeans, sneakers and a fedora. The look was SO darn cute that I just might have to re-create it.

Button Down Cardigan ($79.99)

Can we talk about this cardigan! It is AH-MAZING! I thought that the August cardigan was my favorite Frock Box piece to date but this one definitely takes the cake. This is something I will wear a TON. I already have a few outfits planned for it. I can wear it with so many pieces from previous boxes. I feel like I almost need to do a separate post for all of the outfits I can create using my Frock Box pieces from the last 6 months.

V-Neck Blouse ($64.99)

I’m on the fence with this blouse. I know my closet needs at least a couple dressy outfits but is it a little too dressy for me? Maybe. I might try dressing it down with my favorite pair of distressed jeans, an oversized black blazer and my Adidas sneakers. That might be cute.

UPDATE: Kind of cute with the jeans and blazer but I think I like it better with the leggings and cardigan.

Cost Breakdown

This month’s Frock Box is definitely getting me out of my comfort zone, there are actually a couple of pieces I’m not sure about. I’m mostly wondering about the blouse. As much as I love my animal print, I think it’s just a little too dressy for my liking. So, let’s see what the cost difference is with and without the blouse…..

TOTAL (without the blouse) = $333.96

And here’s the breakdown if I keep everything….

• Boots – $99.99

TOTAL (minus 25%) = $299.21

As you can see, I actually save $34.75 by keeping all of the items. I get the blouse for free and save $35! How great is that. It makes me think I should keep the blouse and have it in my closet just in case I need a dressy outfit.

Frock Box Review & TRY-ON July 2021

My September Frock Box is spot on in regards to Fall fashion. My stylist nailed it with a cozy cardigan, cropped sweater, trendy moto leggings and cute booties. The color palette is also pretty darn amazing…..these are my colors! I am 100% in love with the cardigan and sweater, and I think the other pieces will be fun to play around with. They get me a little out of my comfort zone, but I also look at it as a challenge – what kind of outfits can I come up with for the blouse and the booties………
