Leopard Midi Skirt ($79.99)

This skirt was the first thing that grabbed my attention when I pulled everything out of the bag. I am in love with the pattern and colors. I am also very in to midi skirts right now. The only thing I’m a little on the fence about is the material. It is very thin and a little clingy in the tummy area…….a little intimidating for us moms 🙂

Striped Cardigan ($104.99)

This cardigan is SO comfy, soft and it hangs nicely. I decided to pair it with the tank (see below) and jeans from a previous box. It would also be great with leggings……..the perfect outfit for running errands AND such a great piece for Fall!

Black Tank ($49.99)

Here we have a double layered high neck racer back tank. I love black basics, they are must-haves for any wardrobe, but this one is maybe just a little too tight for my liking……or maybe it’s just me being self-conscious about my “mom” area again:)

Cropped Jean ($89.99)

These cropped jeans are high rise and have a straight leg fit. I absolutely LOVE them when it comes to style as they fit me like a glove. But…..white is just not my color when it comes to bottoms. I have a busy toddler and a husband who is a welder so let’s just say……..light colors don’t do well in our house. But, I do really love the look of white denim so I might save these for days out with the girls, running errands by myself, etc….

Aerosmith Tee ($69.99)

This band tee is my favourite item from my August delivery. I happen to love band tees and I also happen to love Aerosmith! I can see myself wearing this on a regular basis. Whether it be with shorts, jeans, midi skirts……you name it!

Frock Box Review – Final Thoughts

I have to be totally honest…..my August Frock Box was a bit of a miss. The overall idea was great but some of the details were just a little off, mostly due to my lifestyle and phase of life. For example, I am 100% in love with the skirt (pattern, length, colors) but the fabric doesn’t work with my mom body. The jeans fit like they were made for me, but my husband and toddler are about as messy as they come so white bottoms are a no go. It’s just little tiny details……but overall…..I do really love what they sent me.
